We specialize in Tai Chi for health and relaxation
and Chi Kung energy breathing exercises to harmonize mind, body and spirit.

In our class we learn the basics of conscious meditation
based on Qigong practices (Energy work) and Tai-Chi (energy distribution through the body).

We practice breathing techniques and healing visualizations
to help control stress, improve health and find inner calm.

We believe that Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong can benefit everyone
by promoting physical and emotional health and the development of chi energy.

About Cati’s teaching style

(From: Paris Health Club, NYC)

Cati teaches from the expectation that we are there to learn, to risk, to grow, to go deeper into our body and inner life. Her respect for Tai chi and her students raises the level of commitment and accomplishment for the students.

She is serious and relaxed and able to find each person’s special need/problem to work on without judgment.

Cati has managed to get a room filled with people to perform as an energetic group, able to move together with grace and strength.

The great gift of this class is to be a part of it and to feel the vitality of life.

What is Tai-Chi

The ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan is an amazing healing art, based on the principles of relaxing the body, and reducing the stress and anxiety brought about by daily living. The health effects include strengthening the body's bone structure, toning the muscles, increasing cardiovascular circulation, and flushing the body's lymphatic system of toxins. The movements can enhance the body's blood circulation and metabolism. Unlike aerobics, you do not need to raise your heart rate to a strenuous level when performing Tai Chi Chuan.

Sifu Winokur began training in Tai Chi with Master Randy K. Li in April of 1990 and has been recognized as a 6th generation disciple in Yang Family Tai Chi. Cati Blanche is a 7th generation student.

What is Qigong (Chi Kung)

An ancient & powerful mind/body discipline that is perfect for the modern world. Composed of a variety of sitting, standing & moving practices which utilize the breath, posture, and power of the mind, Qigong creates a field of powerful healing energy enabling the practitioner to shift into a state of increased vitality & awareness.

Many benefits are felt after a few months of practice, such as improved balance, reduced stress, better body awareness…
